George Mason High School

LEED gold design build with Gilbane Builders, Interface Engineers, and Stantec Architects. State of the Art 150,000 Sq.Ft. +/- seven story new building attached to the existing Middle School with some minor modifications to Middle School.

HVAC consist of geothermal well system with heat exchanger and condenser water loop connected to 500 tons of water cooled AAON DOAS and AHU’s and Daikin VRF systems. HVAC Air system include Medium and low pressure supply air with low noise emission, return air to AHU’s, with outside air to DOAS systems with VRF’s fan coils and air terminal units. Plumbing consist of Locker rooms, training treatment rooms, labs which include acid waste, natural gas turrets, and emergency showers with eye wash stations. Also included in plumbing were gang men’s and women’s bathrooms as well as gender neutral bathrooms, low flow fixtures, touch free faucets and flushvalves, domestic booster water system, water cooled heat pump hot water generating plant, and a full service kitchen with serving lines.
