About This Project

Interior renovation and expansion of existing In Vitro fertilization laboratory facility. Included the following scope of work;

  • Purchase and install of (1) RTU and associated piping, ductwork, insulation and controls.
  • Purchase and install of (1) indoor AHU and associated piping, ductwork, insulation and controls.
  • Purchase and installation of (3) humidifiers and associated piping, insulation and controls.
  • Purchase and installation of (9) VAV boxes and associated piping, ductwork, insulation and controls.
  • Purchase and installation of (2) exhaust fans and associated ductwork and controls.
  • Purchase and installation of double wall fuel oil containment system for emergency generator day tank.
  • Installation of refrigerant piping, condensate piping, make-up water piping and associated insulation.
  • Purchase and installation of (84) plumbing fixtures including recirc pumps, electric water heater, water closets, urinals, lavatories, laboratory sinks, break room sinks, mop sinks, shower, trap primer panels, thermostatic mixing valves, floor drains and floor sinks. Also included installation of (1) water purification unit.
  • Installation of new hook-ups for owner supplied scrub sink, sterilizer and IM. Installation of waste and vent piping and domestic hot and cold water to support the new fixtures.
  • Installation of new laborary gas piping and associated med gas outlets, zone valve boxes, area alarm panels, and lab gas regulators. Installation of liquid N2 provided as turn key system.
  • Installation of acid waste piping to support lab sinks. Installation of RO/DI water piping to support lab sinks.
  • Subcontracted work included temperature controls, duct and piping insulation, test and balance, med gas certifications and liquid N2 system.
