Catalent – BWI Expansion Phase 3

About This Project

• Construction of cGMP warehouse facility including the HVAC and Plumbing work in an existing core and shell building.
• GMP warehouse is approximately 112,000 sq. ft. with 2nd floor supporting office spaces, QC lab, training rooms, fitness center, freezer farm, cold storage, cryo room, and support MER spaces.
• Purchase and install of (3) semi-custom rooftop mounted AHU’s and associated piping and ductwork.
• Purchase and installation of (2) 650-ton water cooled chillers and (2) 650-ton cooling towers for chilled water system.
• Purchase and installation of (1) rooftop mounted DOAS with integral humidifier and associated piping and ductwork.
• Purchase and installation of (4) vertical ARU’s for warehouse heating and cooling and all associated piping and ductwork.
• New supply, return and exhaust ductwork for corridors, support spaces and GMP warehouse.
• Installation of (2) duct mounted reheat coils and associated controls.
• Installation of (1) duct mounted humidifier and (1) duct mounted HEPA filter bank.
• Installation of (35) exhaust fans GMP warehouse areas and associated support spaces including associated ductwork and controls.
• Purchase and install of (4) new 4-pipe FCU’s for general corridors, mechanical rooms and support spaces.
• Purchase and install of (85) VAV boxes for office areas and support spaces.
• Purchase and installation of (10) wall mounted indoor VRF units and associated outdoor condensing units.
• Installation of (4) 3,000,000 BTU hot water boilers with associated control system and boiler flue piping.
• Installation of (7) vertical in-line pumps for Heating Hot Water system, (2) vertical in-line pumps for Chilled Water system, and (2) vertical in-line pumps for Condenser Water system.
• Installation of new safety shower units and associated safety shower piping.
• New sanitary waste and vent piping to accommodate new floor sinks, floor drains, laboratory scullery sinks and water heater installation.
• Scope of work also included the process gas systems including LN2 (Liquid Nitrogen), CCA, N2 and O2 to support the QC lab areas.
